Laura Kipnusu knows what it means to compete. A four-year women's wrestler at Grand View University, Laura has spent her life on the mat, the field, and now the rugby pitch, chasing a professional rugby career while carrying the lessons of every sport she's played along the way: soccer, rugby, wrestling, and everything in between. Through it all, she noticed something that stuck with her. How many incredible athletes across Iowa go unnoticed, putting in the same work and heart as anyone on a bigger stage with little recognition to show for it.
That's why GRIMPHYSIQUE exists; to give Iowa's athletes and clubs the spotlight they've earned. Laura also saw a gap in athletic wear itself: too much of it built for one body type, one sport, or one moment — great for competition, but not made to last or move with you into everyday life. So she set out to build something different: clothing that fits every size and body, keeps you confident whether you're training or just living your day, and holds up to any sport without falling apart. Gear built the way Laura plays, multi-sport, no limits.
